Rotary Screw Compressorts

Description

The York A is a refrigeration oil well-suited for both rotary screw and reciprocating compressors in ammonia service, and guaranteed to function with evaporators operating down to _40ユ__C. It has an ISO grade of 68 and a viscosity index of 93.

The York A provides performance advantages, including partial miscibility and solubility with CFCs, HCFCs and ammonia for improved oil return to the compressor, that improves overall system effiency and higher productivity. It is engineered for use with both rotary screw and reciprocating compressors for ammonia applications.

With its versatile features, the York A is compatible with all types of seals and O-rings used in ammonia compressors including Neoprene (chloroprene), Buna-N and NBR. The York A also works with naphthenic and paraffinic mineral oils, as well as PAO and AB synthetic oils, which allows top-off over these other oils and eliminates the need for system flushes and excessive evaporator maintenance.
