Description

The York E oil is a highly refined, hydrotreated ammonia compressor lubricant, especially designed to function under the stringent requirements of closed-loop ammonia refrigeration systems. It has an ISO grade of 100 and a viscosity index of 97.

The performance advantages of the York E oil versus naphthenic oils include: lower wax content versus the ��_essentially��_ or ��_virtually��_ wax free oils marketed by competitors, reduced oil carryover, and superior cleanliness, chemical and thermal stability, enhanced wear protection, lower foaming tendency, extended oil drain interval capability, and less oil make-up. These provide improved system efficiency and higher productivity.

Manufactured with flexibility, the York E is exceptionally well-suited for rotary screw, reciprocating and rotary vane compressors in ammonia service. It is compatible with naphthenic and other hydrotreated paraffinic-based compressor oils for ammonia service, as well as PAO and alkylbenzene-based products.
